Alex Fernie Audio Ltd. is a leading supplier of custom audio solutions to the corporate, conference, touring and live performance audio industry in the West of Ireland.

As well as equipment rental, we also provide professional, qualified and experienced sound technicians and crew guaranteeing PA system reliability and audio quality, whatever the event. Should you require a permanently installed distributed audio system for a bar, restaurant or club, we can offer a range of options to suit most budgets.

The summer season is now well under way, with us currently in pre-production for the Galway Arts Festival in July, the Galway races and several large scale marquee events throughout the country. June was a mixed bag of indoor and outdoor events, a Daniel Lanois show and Eddi Reader being the highlights. Photos and other stories below. Please note that we currently have no systems available at all for the middle to the end of July and restricted booking only for August. Please contact us now should require a system for August.

Finally, we are currently in the process of developing a sales and long-term contract hire section for the site, which will have details of our sales and long-term PA rental for commercial and licensed properties. The section should be up and running within the next four weeks.

Town Hall Theatre, June 1 2008

10 time Grammy award winner Daniel Lanois played a sold out show as part of a screening of his film, Here is What is. Alex Fernie Audio supplied a large PS15 system FOH and a PS10 system for rear surround for the film. A FOH engineer was also supplied to mix the show for the U2 producer and all round good egg, accompanied by drummer Brian Blade.

June 21st 2008.

June 26 -28 2008.

Alex Fernie Audio supplied a Nexo AlphaE system for the Galway leg of the Guinness Hurling Cubed series, despite often atrocious weather conditions over the 3 day event.

A Nexo AlphaE system was supplied to Dublin PA company EQ Audio as part of their FOH PA for the Planet Love Summer Session.
Galway Arts Festival Launch,
Radisson SAS Hotel, Galway.

PA and crew were supplied for the launch of the 2008 Galway Arts Festival,Ireland's largest arts festival. This year the festival once again features the Big Top in the Fisheries Field, as well as a full 2 week programme of live concerts, theatre and visual arts.
