Cinderella in the  Black Box Theatre, Galway
Alex Fernie Audio supplied the wireless mic set up for the Performing Arts School's production of Cinderella in the Black Box Theatre, Galway, Jan 1st-8th.The mics supplied included our newly acquired Sennheiser ew300 G2 series system with the ME2 mic-head and beltpack. Alex Fernie Audio supplied the PA for Pyramid's gig to wrap up the National Radio Awards in the Burlington Hotel on March 3rd, 2006.
GMIT Rag Week 2006
Alex Fernie Audio supplied the entire PA for the 800 capacity venue during GMIT's Student Rag Week. The system consisted of 4 stacks of Nexo Alpha, , Radian Microwedges and Nexo PS10's for fills and monitors and Crown and Camco amplification.

January - April

Alex Fernie Audio supplied the entire sound sytem and related sound effects for this unique event which spanned 4 weeks and two venues in Cork and Dublin. Equipment supplied included NEXO PS10's, Sennheiser wireless equipment and related control and amplification.
Alex Fernie Audio supplied PA for the recent King Britt gig in Galway's GPO. Also supplied was a Martin Wavefront system for a once-off Shake gig in Drum Bar. Upcoming next week is New York's Louie Vega.............

GRA conference at the Radisson SAS hotel.
Alex Fernie Audio supplied technicians and equipment to the much publisicized and controversial GRA (Garda Representative Association) Conference earlier this month.
Alex Fernie Audio again supplied the PA for the premiere of Druid Theatre's latest production, The Year of the Hiker. The show moves to the Gaiety on the 21st May.
Carrying on from our association with the DruidSynge production last year, we were credited this year with the sound for Druid Theatre's latest production The Walworth Farce, directed by Mikel Murfi. Opening in Galway's Town Hall, the show  toured Cork and Dublin.

Race Week @ The Radisson SAS Hotel.

Alex Fernie Audio supplied the PA for the outdoor hostpitality tents at the Radisson SAS Hotel for their week long entertainment programme during the Galway Races. As well as technicians and crew, Nexo PS systems were supplied throughout the hotel and the outside tents.
Inish Bofin Arts Festival 2006
For the 6th year running Alex Fernie Audio supplied the PA for the Inish Bofin Arts Festival. PA for the 3 day, 400 capacity venue included a Martin Audio Wavefront System and Seeburg M5 monitors. Lighting was supplied by Blacklight.

Mantua Festival 2006

Alex Fernie Audio supplied the PA  and crew for the main-stage at this year's Mantua Reggae/Electronica Festival.
The mainstage hosted over 25 acts over two days.
At FOH was our Martin Wavefront system with a 40 channel Crest VX on control. Monitors were an 8 way mix using Nexo PS15 and Seeburg M5 wedges, driven by our Mackie TT24 digital console.

Alex Fernie Audio supplied the PA for the Project 06 gig of the Sawdoctors in the Warwick hotel. The two and a half hour set featured Paul McClune of the Undertones for a rendition of Teenage Kicks.
Femi Kuti at the Radisson SAS.

Alex Fernie Audio augmented the in house Nexo GEO S rig in the Radisson SAS, Galway for a recent gig by Femi Kuti. At FOH was a 40 channel Crest VX. Driving an 8 way monitor mix was our Mackie TT24.
The Divine Comedy @ The Radisson

Alex Fernie Audio supplied an 8 way monitor mix for the TDC's gig at the Radisson SAS hotel, including a 48ch Midas Heritage 3000, Seeburg & Nexo PS15 wedges. Also supplied was a monitor engineer for support act Duke Special.

Making Galway Proud Ball

Alex Fernie Audio supplied audio equipment and sound crew for the the 3rd annual Making Galway Proud Ball at the Radisson SAS Hotel,Galway. The night raised over €250,000 for the elderly of Galway city.
2nd Galway Jazz Festival

Once again Alex Fernie Audio were the sole supplier of PA and audio equipment to the 2nd Galway Jazz Festival. We supplied Front-of-House and monitor engineers with full PA for Kenny Garret's show at Galway's 800 capacity Black Box, as well as PA and engineers for gig in St. Nicholas' Cathedral, Galway's Great Southern and Radisson SAS hotels which took place over the 3 day festival.
Acts included Louis Stewart, Danny Moss, Ian Shaw and the Phil Ware Trio.
Whose Line is it Anyway? @ the Roisin Dubh

Alex Fernie Audio supplied a six way wireless lapel system and crew for the recent Galway date of comedy improv quintet, "the star's of 'whose line is it anyway?'
1st International Salsa Congress.

Alex Fernie Audio was delighted to be the sole supplier of PA and crew for Ireland's inaugural Salsa event. The 3 day event had Salsa bands from the UK, Cuba and Ireland and was held in the Black Box Theatre and the Salthill Hotel.
Network Ireland Conference 2006

PA and technicians were supplied for the duration of this years Network Ireland Conference held in Galway. The official opening was conducted by President Mary Mc Aleese with Liz O'Donnell TD as guest speaker.
Frankie Gavin International Fiddle Festival

Again we supplied crew and PA for the 2nd Frankie Gavin International Fiddle Festival.
A full monitor system and our TT24 was supplied for the two dates in the Radisson SAS entertainment centre.

Babaro Children's Arts Festival

Once again we are heavily involved with supplying sound equipment to this year's Babaro Festival. First event up was an one off arts forum held featuring Gay Byrne and Tommy Tiernan, discussing the benefits of arts projects to communities.

Later in the week we supplied full PA and crew for Kila's 2 shows in the Town Hall Theatre (pictured left).
Harlem Gospel Choir

Alex Fernie Audio supplied PA and crew for the recent Galway date of the Harlem Gospel Choir's Irish tour. Supplied was a large Nexo PS15 system with Seeburg M5 monitors and a Mackie TT24 digital console.
We once again supplied the PA to spec of sound designer John Leonard for Druid Theatre's latest production "The Empress of India". After an acclaimed run in Galway's Town Hall, the show is presently playing the Abbey Theatre as part of the Dublin Theatre Festival. This is Druid's 3rdth major new production this year and we are pleased to have supplied PA and crew to all 3 productions.
Galway Oyster Festival Gala Dinner 2006

Dinosaur Jr at the Warwick
