The GEO S1230 and GEO S1210, are NEXO's newest additions to the internationally successful GEO S Series of tangent-array loudspeakers, designed for both fixed and portable installations where high-performance cost-efficient foreground reinforcement is required.
The GEO S1230 can be used as a stand-alone cabinet, arrayable horizontally or vertically, a plug-and-play unit of impressive power and outstanding sound quality, backed by a professional's range of accessories for all applications. It can be flown, using crossbow flying hardware, and ground-stacked with subwoofers. Rigging options for all fixed and mobile applications are available. The S1230 is perfect for single box deployment in "distributed" applications, for example near-field foreground music in bars and clubs.
In line with NEXO's philosophy of scalable systems, the GEO S1230 and S1210 are intended to be used as building blocks in both fixed and portable systems. For mobile and touring applications, smaller PA companies may invest in a dozen cabinets, which can be deployed as six small systems or two mid-size systems. Inventory can be easily shared between users to form still larger PA systems..
On the 29th March 2008, Alex Fernie Audio Ltd took delivery of a new NEXO GEO S12 system, the first system of its kind in the Republic of Ireland.
The initial delivery was of 4 S1210 and 4 S1230 array elements, and 4 of the RS15 subbass cabinet. The system is powered by NEXO NXAMP4x4's.
As shown in the diagram below, the S12 system can be deployed in a variety of configurations. Full rigging for most of these configurations is available from Alex Fernie Audio.
